Donkey Ride & Hot Air Balloon With West Bank Sightseeing
Donkey ride and hot air balloons are one of the most spectacular tours in the biggest open Museum area in the world (Luxor). You can experience the unrivaled majesty of the valley of the kings, Hatshepsut temple, Colossi of Memnon, River Nile and fields drifting below.
Our representative will pick you up in the early morning from your hotel in Luxor or your Nile cruise boat to the Marine where you will take a motorboat to cross the Nile from East bank to the West bank. You will have the chance to take your breakfast on the boat while they offer tea and coffee with cakes.
Hot Air Balloon
Upon your arrival at the west bank, you will take the transfer to the Hot Air Balloon launched site from where you will start your trip. You will have to chance to enjoy watching the inflation of the balloon before you will step in the basket to start the flight which lasts around 45 minutes. Safety briefing and instructions to the ground crew and pilot will explain before you climb on board. The helpful crews are on hand to assist you in the basket.
The basket is designed to hold 12 passengers, each in their compartments. The balloon is guided by a professional pilot who will mention the spectacular sites of Luxor when you will be airborne.
Once you will have smooth, gentle landing, the friendly and the experienced crew will be on hand with water or juice and a flight certificate then you will be the donkey’s ride.
Donkey Ride
Everyone will have his donkey and we will help you to be on then they will explain and show you what to do like not to pull on the rope, move it lightly to the side you want to go on as well as saying Hesh if you want it to slow down.
Valley of the kings
We will start our west bank tour from the King’s valley with its 63 tombs including the tomb of the boy-king Tutankhamon which is an extra charge and your guide will recommend for you 3 very nice tombs out of the opened ones.
Hatshepsut temple
After we will finish the Valley of the Kings, we will go back to our donkeys to ride them to the Next stop, which is the unique temple of the queen Hatshepsut, which is really unique in its design and scenes on its walls.
Colossi of Memnon
Finally, you will visit with our donkeys the ruins of the biggest funerary temple on the west bank of the Nile and its immense Colossi of Memnon.
Later we will ride the donkeys till the marina where we will take the motorboat to the East bank then you will take your transfer back to your hotel with air-conditioned vehicle.

Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation
Cancellation by the clients
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.
- For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
- Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Golavita
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Christmas & New Year from 20/12 till 06/01 & Easter holidays from 19/03 till 31 /03

Is it allowed for non-Muslims to enter historical mosques in Egypt?
• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.
Can I take pictures while visiting the monuments in Egypt
The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
