TRIP ITINERARY

Donkey Ride & Hot Air Balloon With West Bank Sightseeing

Donkey ride and hot air balloons are one of the most spectacular tours in the biggest open Museum area in the world (Luxor). You can experience the unrivaled majesty of the valley of the kings, Hatshepsut temple, Colossi of Memnon, River Nile and fields drifting below.

Our representative will pick you up in the early morning from your hotel in Luxor or your Nile cruise boat to the Marine where you will take a motorboat to cross the Nile from East bank to the West bank. You will have the chance to take your breakfast on the boat while they offer tea and coffee with cakes.

Hot Air Balloon

Upon your arrival at the west bank, you will take the transfer to the Hot Air Balloon launched site from where you will start your trip. You will have to chance to enjoy watching the inflation of the balloon before you will step in the basket to start the flight which lasts around 45 minutes. Safety briefing and instructions to the ground crew and pilot will explain before you climb on board. The helpful crews are on hand to assist you in the basket.

The basket is designed to hold 12 passengers, each in their compartments. The balloon is guided by a professional pilot who will mention the spectacular sites of Luxor when you will be airborne.

Once you will have smooth, gentle landing, the friendly and the experienced crew will be on hand with water or juice and a flight certificate then you will be the donkey’s ride.

Donkey Ride

Everyone will have his donkey and we will help you to be on then they will explain and show you what to do like not to pull on the rope, move it lightly to the side you want to go on as well as saying Hesh if you want it to slow down.

Valley of the kings

We will start our west bank tour from the King’s valley with its 63 tombs including the tomb of the boy-king Tutankhamon which is an extra charge and your guide will recommend for you 3 very nice tombs out of the opened ones.

Hatshepsut temple

After we will finish the Valley of the Kings, we will go back to our donkeys to ride them to the Next stop, which is the unique temple of the queen Hatshepsut, which is really unique in its design and scenes on its walls.

Colossi of Memnon

Finally, you will visit with our donkeys the ruins of the biggest funerary temple on the west bank of the Nile and its immense Colossi of Memnon.
