Marsa Mubarak with its corals, different kinds of colored fishes also a great variety of flora and fauna was ranked alongside other destinations such as Miami, Budapest, and Whistler, Canada.
Snorkeling with Dugong Marsa Mubarak and Marsa El Shouna
Your snorkel guide will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam to Porto Ghalib Marine where you will start unforgettable snorkeling day. You will board your boat then you will receive your snorkeling equipment.
The boat will sail for approximately 30 minutes till the special little bay of Marsa El shouna with its reef walls for octopus, scorpionfishes and a host of other camouflaged creatures. After enjoying this stop for about an hour, you will be back to the boat to start sailing till next stop in different places which is called Marsa Mubarak.
Marsa Mubarak Turtle Bay
Marsa Mubarak is the largest bay in the area lies 30 minutes to the south of Port Ghalib and has numerous options for diving and snorkeling. This place is well known for frequent visits by the green sea turtles, dolphins and a dugong.
Here you will explore the protected bay of Marsa Mubarak, which offers some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the Red Sea and the magnificent underwater life. Lunch will be taken on board before you will have your last snorkeling stop.
The boat will sail later back to Marine and our representative will transfer you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
Important Notice
Dugong or Sea Cow lives in warm water and Dugongs already disappeared from most of the world but luckily you can still see them in Marsa Alam Egypt. there is always chance to see them in the early morning or late at the end of the day when there is no crowd.
Kindly notice that Dugongs are very friendly but please do not touch them if you meet them and leave space for them to go to surface for air.

Our goal is to provide extensive tours and excursion services and innovative travel products for our guests to ensure they enjoy the best of what Egypt has to offer as a holiday destination but we understand things happen in life and sometimes you have to cancel or change your tour plan. We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.
Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation
Cancellation by the clients
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.
- For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
- Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Golavita
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Christmas & New Year from 20/12 till 06/01 & Easter holidays from 19/03 till 31 /03

Is it allowed for non-Muslims to enter historical mosques in Egypt?
• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.
Can I take pictures while visiting the monuments in Egypt
The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
