Marsa Alam Snorkel Half Day Marsa Mubarak
Marsa Alam Snorkel half Day Marsa Mubarak starts after enjoying your breakfast at your hotel before our representative will pick you up with air-conditioned vehicle to Porto Ghalib.
Upon arrival the boar staff will welcome you then help you to step in the boat and enjoy your time on board. The guide will explain you everything about your trip, the best places where you can snorkel and some instruction how you should deal with sea animals.
The boat will sail about 30 minutes till the protected bay of Marsa Mubarak where you can see some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the Red Sea and the magnificent underwater seascapes. The crystal clear warm water of this site hosts a great variety of flora and fauna.
Keep in mind that Marsa Mubarak isn’t the most impressive dive and snorkel site in the world but it has a sandy beach leads to a gently sloping bottom, lined on one side by a reef wall with some coral growth and fish. Sometimes you will be lucky to see the endangered Dugong “sea cow’ that can usually be found munching on the sea grass, or on the surface when they head up for air. From time to time the green turtles could be seen here also beside the dolphins.
After that, the boat will sail back to Porto Ghalib marina where you will take your transfer back to your hotel.

Our goal is to provide extensive tours and excursion services and innovative travel products for our guests to ensure they enjoy the best of what Egypt has to offer as a holiday destination but we understand things happen in life and sometimes you have to cancel or change your tour plan. We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.
Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation
Cancellation by the clients
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.
- For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
- Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Golavita
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Is it allowed for non-Muslims to enter historical mosques in Egypt?
• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.
Can I take pictures while visiting the monuments in Egypt
The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
