Marsa Alam Luxor starts with an early pickup from your hotel. Our representative will pick you up from your hotel with an air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor.

You will have a short break on the way to Luxor called 85 or the kilometer 85 where you can find a nice café in which you can have your breakfast, use the toilets (5 L.E) or you can enjoy a typical Egyptian hot drink. Upon your arrival in Luxor, you will start your full-day tour to Luxor sightseeing.

Valley of the Kings or king’s valley

You will start your tour with your guide from the west bank of the River Nile, Valley of the Kings where you will visit the spectacular tombs of the new Empire Pharaohs. 63 rock-cut tombs including the tomb of the very famous boy-king Tutankhamen were dug totally inside the mountains. Valley of the kings was the royal burial tombs for the great pharaohs like Merenptah, Ramses IV, Seti I, and Ramses II.

Your guide will recommend for you the most beautiful opened 3 tombs for the entrance ticket. for example, nowadays you can visit the tombs of Ramses IV, Ramses IX, and Merenptah. Kindly notice that there are three more tombs is an extra charge, Tutankhamen (300l.e), Ramses V & Ramses VI (150 l.e) and Seti I (1400l.e).

Hatshepsut temple – El Dier El Bahari

After the Valley of the Kings, you will visit Hatshepsut temple, Hatshepsut was the longest-reigning female pharaoh or the only woman ruled Egypt for about 23 years around 1478 BC. She built her temple which was dedicated to her heavenly dad AMON RA, she erected a twin obelisk in Karnak temple, she sent a notable trading expedition to Punt or maybe Somalia. A quick stop at the alabaster factory to see how they still keep the ancient Egyptian technique and in case if you like to buy some souvenirs.

Colossi of Memnon

The last stop on the west bank will be Colossi of Memnon, the gigantic statues of king Amenhotep III that was once standing in front of his mortuary temple. The second biggest statutes in Egypt after those of Abu Simbel in Aswan.

Karnak temple or Amun Ra temple

Karnak temple main Egyptian religious center during the new kingdom and it was dedicated to the worship of the triad of Luxor AMUN, MUT, and KHONSU. Karnak temple will be the last visit where you will see a lot of stories about wars, conflicts, peace and construction, Moreover columns, obelisks, pylons, scarab, and a sacred lake.

You will have free time to take some photos then back to the bus and back to Marsa Alam.

Cancellation Policy and refunds

Our goal is to provide extensive tours and excursion services and innovative travel products for our guests to ensure they enjoy the best of what Egypt has to offer as a holiday destination but we understand things happen in life and sometimes you have to cancel or change your tour plan. We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.

Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation

Cancellation by the clients

Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.

  • For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
  • Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.

Cancellation by Golavita

We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Christmas & New Year from 20/12 till 06/01 & Easter holidays from 19/03 till 31 /03

• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.

The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
