Assuan Staudamm

Nach Ihrer Ankunft beginnen wir die Tagestour mit dem etwa 15 km von Assuan entfernt liegenden Assuan Staudamm (das größte öffentliche Projekt, was in Ägypten seit dem Bau der Pyramiden entstand). Auf dem Weg passieren wir den im Jahre 1902 von den Briten erbaute alte Damm. Der neue Assuan Staudamm, ist ein riesiger Staudamm dessen Bau 1960 begann und der 1968 fertiggestellt wurde, jedoch erst im Jahre 1971 offiziell eingeweiht wurde. Der neue Assuan Staudamm dient seither zur Strom- und Wasserversorgung (er regelt die Wasserführung des Nils) Ägyptens.

Philae Tempel – Isis Tempel

Hiernach geht unsere Ausflüge Marsa Alam Tour nach Assuan weiter zum romantischen Philae Tempel, der jetzt 500 Meter entfernt von seiner ursprünglichen Stelle auf der Insel Agilika liegt und sonst vollständig unter dem Wasser des Nassersees liegen würde. Um die Stelle des Tempels auf seiner Insel in der Mitte des Nils zu erreichen, werden Sie eine kurze Fahrt mit einem Motorboot unternehmen, und einen herrlichen Blick auf die Insel zu erhalten, bevor Sie den alten Kai auf der Südseite erreichen.

We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.

Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation

Cancellation by the clients

Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.

  • For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
  • Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.

Cancellation by Golavita

We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.

The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
