Tag 1 Marsa Alam – Assuan

Assuan Staudamm
Mit Ankunft in Assuan beginnt Ihre erste Ganztagestour mit dem Assuan Staudamm (als einer der größten öffentlichen Bauten seit Entstehung der Pyramiden) der 15 km von Assuan entfernt liegt. Unterwegs passieren Sie den alten Damm, 1902 von den Briten 1902 gebaut.
Philae Tempel – Göttin Isis Tempel
Anschließend unternehmen wir eine kurze Fahrt mit einem Motorboot, um die Stelle des Philae Tempels auf der Insel Philae mitten im Nil zu erreichen. Dort besuchen wir den romantischen Philae Tempel, der 500 Meter entfernt vom ursprünglichen Standort auf der Insel Agilika liegt. Der Philae-Tempel wurde von den Fluten des Nassersees gerettet und mit vielen Denkmälern zusammen auf der nahegelegenen Insel wieder aufgebaut, die den Namen Philae Insel bekam. Genießen Sie während der Fahrt die herrliche Aussicht auf die Insel, bevor Sie den alten Kai an der Südseite erreichen.

Unvollendeter Obelisk – Granitsteinbrüche Assuan

Tag 2 Abu Simbel – Assuan – Marsa Alam
Nach dem Frühstück holt Sie Ihr Reiseleiter mit Ihrem privaten, klimatisierten Fahrzeug von Ihrem Hotel in Assuan ab, um sich dem Konvoi anzuschließen (Ausgangspunkt für den gesamten Tagesausflug zum Tempel von Abu Simbel). Abu Simbel liegt 280 km südlich von Assuan und nur 40 km nördlich Ägypten`s Grenze zum Sudan.
In Abu Simbel besichtigen Sie den Abu Simbel Tempel, bestehend aus den beiden großen Tempeln von König Ramses II. Die beiden im ehemaligen Nubien errichteten Felsentempel benötigten 20 Jahre Bauzeit. Auch diese Tempelanlage steht nicht mehr an seinem ursprünglichen Platz. Der Tempel wurde abgebaut und 225 Meter vom Fluß entfernt neu errichtet. Zwischen 1964 und 1968 wurde der Tempel zum Schutz gegen die Flutung des Nassersees in große Blöcke zerteilt und mit Hilfe der UNESCO ( durch eine 1959 ins Leben gerufene Spendenaktion) in sicherer Entfernung wieder mühsam aufgebaut. Diese Projekt verschlang damals 40 Millionen Dollar.
Sie haben zwei Stunden, um den großen Tempel von Ramses II. Und den kleinen Tempel seiner geliebten Frau, der Königin Nefertari, zu besuchen. Nutzen sie die restliche Freizeit zur freien Verfügung oder um im nubischen Café am Ausgang der Tempel etwas zu trinken, bis der Konvoi von Abu Simbel nach Assuan zurück startet.

We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.
Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation
Cancellation by the clients
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.
- For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
- Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.

We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Is it allowed for non-Muslims to enter historical mosques in Egypt?
• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.
Can I take pictures while visiting the monuments in Egypt
The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
