TRIP ITINERARY

Breakfast will be taken at your hotel then you will start a unique day and you will watch a Silent movie on the walls of the places you will visit today, about the houses, the gardens and the silent movie on the walls of the tombs, vineyard, sport, celebration, music and fun.

Noblemen were some of the powerful courtiers and they had these rock cut tombs in an area called Sheikh Abd EL Korna. . Here you can see the difference and the change from the repeated scenes in the tombs of the kings and queens to the scenes which concern with life, earth life and the activities like fishing, hunting birds and plough the land.

The common question from our clients is how we are quite sure about that culture, life and so on. The answer is everything is depicted on the walls of the tombs of the noblemen which are small in size but great in value. Here in your first stop more than 400 tombs, of which only 7 is of high interest, those of Rekhmire, Sennofer, Ramose, Userhat, Khaemhat, Nakht and Menna. The entrance ticket for 2 tombs only but you can add 2 more or 4 tombs to enjoy more and more details.

The second stop will be at the temple of the last great pharaoh Ramses the third Madinet Habu, which was discovered between “1859-1899 “by the Egyptian antiquities service, the temple is one of the largest memorial temples on the west bank of the River Nile and the best preserved temple in Thebes. During your visit to this temple you will enjoy watching some of the wonderful scenes like hunting Bull by the king Ramses the third and you will feel the pain of the wounded animal. Here also you will look at the ruins of the only royal palace you can see in Luxor more over you will enjoy the beautiful scenes of Ramses battles against the Sea people and Libyans. Also you will see the ritual sacrifice scenes of the enemies in front of different gods. Anyhow you will enjoy the stories you will listen from your guide about the Syrian fortress and the first pylon in this temple.

Continue to the valley of the Queens with its 72 tombs which dedicated mainly to the queens, princes and high officials. Here you can see the best decorated tomb of the famous queen Nefertari-the wife of the king Ramses the second and two more tombs for the prince Kha em waste and Amon khep shef. When you will finish your visit, you will go with your air-conditioned vehicle to the harbor on the west bank to cross the Nile with motor boat to the east side to have your lunch in local restaurant with Nile view. You will drive to your hotel with our best wishes that you enjoyed your day with Golavita guide.
