TRIP ITINERARY
Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel then our representative will pick you up from your hotel (El Gouna-Makadi or Hurghada) to Safaga, the starting point of your trip to Utopia Island.
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by Utopia staff and you will be offered your snorkeling equipment, in case if you do not have your own. (Free of charge). As normal in all the sea trips, you will keep your shoes in saved place then you will be free to seat wherever you like, downstairs or on the sundeck. You can start your lovely morning with a hot drink (tea– Anise– Nescafe) which is available all day onboard free of charge.
You will have a short introduction about the program which includes two snorkeling stops in two different areas to have the chance to enjoy more and more coral reefs areas and check the underwater world in different places and free time at the Island which is nice, small and unique because it has white sand, still virgin not like Hurghada and sure you will enjoy swim near the shore or lay and receive the sun or snorkeling.
Lunch will be served on board, freshly cooked food by the boat chief and typical Egyptian salads, fish, kofta, vegetables and potatoes or chicken beside the delicious Tahina (sesame sauce with oil and spices) and Egyptian healthy bread. You will have a soft drink and water with lunch and on the way back, you will have the dessert or the fruit of the season or cake. Upon your arrival at the marina, our representative will drive you back to your hotel in Hurghada, Makadi or El Gouna.

Our goal is to provide extensive tours and excursion services and innovative travel products for our guests to ensure they enjoy the best of what Egypt has to offer as a holiday destination but we understand things happen in life and sometimes you have to cancel or change your tour plan. We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.
Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation
Cancellation by the clients
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.
- For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
- Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Golavita
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Is it allowed for non-Muslims to enter historical mosques in Egypt?
• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.
Can I take pictures while visiting the monuments in Egypt
The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
