Sie beginnen Ihre Tour mit Ihrem Führer zum St. Antonius Kloster, das neben dem Katharinenkloster Sinai als eines der ältesten Klöster der Welt gilt. Der heilige Antonius wurde im Jahr 250 n. Chr. In der Stadt Keman bei Beni Suef als Kind christlicher Eltern geboren.
Sobald er zum ersten Mal die Worte Gottes in der Kirche hörte, veränderte sich sein Leben. Er ging mit seinen erst 19 Jahren in die östliche Wüste, lebte bis zu seinem Tode in einer Höhle auf einer Höhe von 680 m in einem Felsplateau und hoffte durch Einsamkeit auf spirituelle Erlösung. Er wurde der geistige Führer seiner Jünger und nach seinem Tod errichteten diese das Kloster 356 n. Chr. unter Kaiser Julian dem Abtrünnigen am Fuße des 1464 m hohen Felsen Plateaus.
Wir besichtigen die Kirche am fuße des Felsen Plateaus in dem der hl. Antonius begraben liegt und die Höhle in der er bis zum Tode lebte. Zur Höhle führen 1200 Stufen hinauf (Sie werden mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht über die Berge, Wüste und in der Ferne sogar das Rote Meer belohnt!).
Kloster St. Paulus Ägypten
Das Kloster St. Paulus Ägypten ist vom St. Antonius Kloster durch die südliche Gabel-El-Galala-Hochebene getrennt. Das St. Antonius Kloster hatte seine Blütezeit zwischen dem 12. und 15. Jahrhundert, als Mönche theologische Werke ins Arabische übersetzten.
Das Kloster war die Heimat von Mönchen aus vielen verschiedenen christlichen Religionen; Die Mönche, die das Kloster heute bewohnen, sprechen noch koptisch.
Wir setzen nun den Ausflug mit dem Besuch des Kloster St. Paulus Ägypten fort. Das Kloster wurde auf der anderen Seite des Bergmassivs im 4. Jahrhundert von Eremiten erbaut, die sich von materiellen Dingen lossagten.
Der heilige Paulus war der jüngste mit 16. Jahren bekannte Einsiedler. Er floh aus Alexandria in die östliche Wüste, um der römischen Verfolgung zu entkommen.
Auf dem Gelände des Kloster St. Paulus Ägypten befinden sich vier Kirchen, darunter die Höhlenkirche des hl. Paulus, die sich in der Mitte befindet und noch immer Gebeine des hl. Paulus aufbewahrt. Man glaubt, dass er hier in den Höhlen zwischen 251 und 325 n.Chr. lebte. Bewundern Sie die wunderbaren Fresken im Kloster und besichtigen Sie mit uns das Kellergewölbe.
Im Jahre 1483, vertrieben Beduinen die Mehrheit der Mönche und zerstörten die Bibliothek mit ihren Manuskripten, der Bäckerei und dem Museum, das der Geschichte des Ortes gewidmet war. ARCE (American Research Center Egypt) betreute zwischen 1997 und 2005 die Restaurationsarbeiten im Kloster.

We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.
Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation
Cancellation by the clients
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.
- For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
- Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.

We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Is it allowed for non-Muslims to enter historical mosques in Egypt?
• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.
Can I take pictures while visiting the monuments in Egypt
The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
