TRIP ITINERARY

Your guide will pick you up from your hotels or your Cruise boats in Safaga or Hurghada at the arranged time one day before which you will know via an Email or sms to your Mobile phone.

You will start your tour with your friendly tour guide who will give instructions and educational information about the whole itinerary while passing through Hurghada main points. You will start your tour by passing beside the oldest hotel in Hurghada, the old Sheraton Hotel, a big round building on a headland to the south of town, and instantly recognizable as your dive boat returns in the afternoon.  It is no longer a Sheraton and has been unused for the past few years.

From here we go to a nice place next to old Felfela restaurant which is considered to be one of the greatest panoramic views. Situated with views across the bay to Gifton island and you can start with a photo-stop for beautiful scenes for the boats, islands and the sea.

After that you will join your guide to the new marina Starting from June 2008 Hurghada Marina offers the City of Hurghada a new look, a place where the tourist and also the residents can walk in the afternoon and breath fresh sea air at night away from the noise of Sakala without anybody disturbing. With many of Egypt’s finest restaurants, unique cafes and stylish bars, Hurghada Marina Boulevard offers the best in food and beverage for all tastes. The new marina in Hurghada, Egypt provides moorings for many private boats and yachts.

Leaving the marine and walk with your guide to the right hand side from the exit door, few meters you will pass the fish market where people can buy fresh fish of the day direct from fishermen.

Later on you will continue your tour to the marina new mosque where your guide will explain you about Islam and Muslims traditions and religion with the opportunity to make some photos inside and outside the mosque but not during the praying time.

Before you will step again in your bus and continue your tour to the next stop, you will have the chance to take some other nice photos for the boats under construction or being fixed in the old harbor next to the new mosque.

Next stop will be the church of St Mary in Dahar. The Evangelical Hurghada Church (EHC) was founded 2008 and is the first evangelical church in the Red Sea area. The church has already started working with children in need, for example with street kids, impoverished and sick children, to give them hope in their lives and a chance for a better future. With the “Christmas bag” project the pastor and his wife deliver the message of Christmas in their giving love to those children, by visiting them and bringing them a “Christmas bag” containing clothes, toys and sweets.

Near the church in Dahar is the Vegetables and Fruit market. 15 minuets free time to go and walk between the souk allies. Do not be afraid, people are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable see real Egyptian life as it is, Hustle and bustle of a town.

After you checked your negotiation skills, you will move to the next stop, resting stop in coffee shop with typical Egyptian drink and Shisha with flavor then free time in the Bazaar area of El Dahar for about one hour or more then back to the bus or our meeting point.

Next stop will be the Aquarium. The aquarium in Hurghada is located just north of the hospital in Hurghada at Ad-Dahar. They have a good selection of fish from the area. It’s one of the most popular tourist attractions in Hurghada, and presents an opportunity to get a glimpse of the attractive marine life.

It is very well preserved, and properly show cased, with labels stating the generic and specific names of the fish. For those who like to go snorkeling and scuba diving, no other aquarium in the world has such a massive collection of different sea creatures in one place. This is truly a fascinating sight. Now it is time to try the Egyptian Falafel and beans with Aish Baladi with bottle of water before your last stop which is not obligatory but it depend of your choice, the Oil factory for some shopping or back to the hotel.
