Dendera-Temple

Wir starten unsere Tour mit dem Dendera-Temple, der sich etwa 2,5 km südöstlich von Dendera und 60 km nördlich von Luxor am Westufer des Nils befindet. Der Tempel ist einer der jüngsten und am besten erhaltenen Tempel Komplexe in Ägypten und wurde der Göttin Hathor gewidmet.

Hathor war die Göttin der Mutterschaft, Schönheit, Sexualität, Liebe, Freude, Harmonie, Tanz und Musik wurde oft mit dem Planeten Venus in Verbindung gebracht. Er wurde unter Ptolemaios VIII. und Königin Kleopatra II. erbaut und später vom römischen Kaiser erweitert, zu Ehren der Göttin Hathor, welche bei den Griechen als Aphrodite identifiziert wurde.

Dendera galt in seine Blütezeit als Heilzentrum, vergleichbar mit einem griechischen Asklepios oder dem katholischen Lourdes.

Ihr Führer wird Sie über die einzigartigen Darstellungen im Dendera Temple informieren, wie z. B. die riesigen Schnitzereien an der Rückwand von Kleopatra mit ihrem Sohn Caesarion, dem Sohn von Julius Caesar, die Hathor und anderen Gottheiten von Dendera Opfergaben brachten, sowie eine der faszinierendsten Szenen, welche die Dachkapelle schmücken, die Osiris gewidmet ist, das sogenannte kreisförmige Sternzeichen Abbild, eine Nachbildung des Originals, das jetzt im Louvre in Paris ausgestellt ist.

Unter den vielen Bauwerken im Dendera Tempel Komplex befinden sich die Überreste einer christlichen Basilika aus dem 5. Jahrhundert, ein hervorragendes Beispiel für die Architektur der frühen koptischen Kirche, der heilige See und die Mammisi (das Geburtshaus Ihy, dem Sohn des Horus und Hathor) Vergessen Sie nicht einige unvergessliche Bilder aufzunehmen, bevor Sie zur nächsten Station unserer Dendera und Abydos dem Abydos Tempel von Seti I aufbrechen.

Abydos Tempel

Abydos, wo man die Gräber von Königen der Ersten und Zweiten Dynastie entdeckte, war bereits seit den frühen Dynastien ein wichtiges Zentrum

Der Bau des Abydos Tempel oder Seti-Tempel wurde während der Regierungszeit des Pharao Seti begonnen und von seinem Sohn Ramses in der neunzehnten Dynastie des Neuen Reiches vollendet.

Abydos Tempel und die Königsliste von Abydos

Der gut erhaltene Abydos Tempel ist eine der wertvollsten archäologischen Stätten und besitzt eine der vollständigsten Königslisten, die Königsliste von Abydos genannt wird.

Er stammt aus der 19. Dynastie und zeigt Bildnisse, wie der König Seti mit seinem kleinen Sohn (später Ramses II) Opfergaben vor einer Liste mit Kartuschen von 76 Königen in chronologischer Reihenfolge ablegte, beginnend mit Menes aus der ersten Dynastie und endend mit Seti aus der neunzehnten Dynastie.

Archäologen fanden im Jahre 1848 geheimnisvolle Hieroglyphen, die die Abbildung eines Flugobjektes darstellen. Erst auf im Internet veröffentlichte Aufnahmen von Touristen im Jahre 1990 führten zur Erkenntnis dass es sich um einem Helikopter ähnelnden Flugobjekt handeln würde.

Osiris Mythos

Es existieren 7 Schreine, die 7 Göttern gewidmet sind: Osiris, Isis, Horus, Amon Ra, Akhty, Ptah und Seti I als vergötterter König. Es wird angenommen, dass diese Schreine einst die heiligen Boote der Götter enthielten.

Jeder von ihnen hat falsche Türen (mit Ausnahme von Osiris) mit einer Stelle, die den Gott erwähnt. Das Heiligtum von Osiris hat keine falsche Tür. Es enthält Darstellungen des Jed-Zeichens von God Osiris (der Säule von Osiris) mit Szenen des Osiris-Mythos.

Abydos – Wallfahrtsort am Roten Meer

Abydos, Begräbnisstätte des Oberhauptes von Osiris ist bis heute ein Wallfahrtsort für spirituelle Reisende. Hier können Sie Das Osireion besichtigen, ein Kenotaph, der zu Ehren des Gottes Osiris erbaut wurde, und einen Tempel, der von seinem Sohn Ramses dem Heiligen gebaut wurde der zwar nicht so gut erhalten, aber trotzdem interessant ist, da es die Schlachten dieses Pharaos zeigt.

We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.

Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation

Cancellation by the clients

Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.

  • For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
  • Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.

Cancellation by Golavita

We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.

The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
