TRIP ITINERARY

Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx tour starts after enjoying your breakfast at your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your half-day tour to one of the old seven wonders of the world and the only one remaining Pyramids of Giza.

On the way from your hotel to Giza pyramid complex, you will listen from your guide an introduction about the Egyptian history and the development of ancient Egyptians thoughts and believes and why and when they started to believe in life after death and why they built the Pyramids and the Egyptian pyramids facts.

You will receive the tickets from your guide for the biggest, the tallest and the most notable Pyramids we have in Egypt right now, Cheops pyramid or the great pyramid of Khufu, Chephren pyramid, the pyramid of Menkaure the 3 pyramids which were built around 4500 B.C.

Cheops Pyramid

You will start your tour by Cheops Pyramid, the most famous pyramid in Egypt and one of the old Seven Wonders of the World and the only one remaining. It was constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks and it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to be constructed.

 Chephren pyramid

You will have the chance to approach it and take photos for the modern and old entrance of the Cheops Pyramid and the whole pyramid. Onwards you will go to the second pyramid Chephren pyramid which is easy to recognize by the fine white limestone layers of its original casing near the top of the pyramid.

Third Stop Pyramid of Menkaure

The next stop will be by the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest between the 3 pyramids. Only to take photos and have a look at its 2 entrances, then you will go to a place called Panorama in order to get the best possible view of these jaw-dropping (amazing) structures.

Fourth Stop Sphinx

The last stop will be at one of the most famous constructions in history, the Great Sphinx. The Sphinx is truly a mysterious marvel from the days of ancient Egypt. The body of a lion with the head of a king or god, the Sphinx has come to symbolize strength and wisdom, and its Valley temple or Mummification temple.
