Erste Station: Kairo Altstadt
Nachdem Sie Ihr Frühstück in Ihrem Hotel genossen haben, holt Sie Ihr Archäologen Führer mit einem klimatisierten Fahrzeug für die Fahrt zum ältesten Teil von Kairo (Kairo Altstadt) oder (Masr el Adima) oder (multireligiöse Gegend), wie es in Ägypten heißt. Ihre Tour wird die Hängende Kirche (El Muallaqa) beinhalten, welche ihren Namen von ihrer Position, sie wurde auf den Ruinen der alten zwei Türme der römischen Festung Babylon erbaut, erhielt.
Die Hängende Kirche stammt aus dem Ende des 3. und Anfang des 4. Jahrhunderts und ist die älteste und erste im Basilika Stil erbaute Kirche und inzwischen die berühmteste christlich-koptische Kirche in Kairo. Sie bildete auch den Sitz der Patriarchen, nachdem er von Alexandria nach Al-Fustat verlegt worden war.
Zweite Station: Abu Serga Kirche und Ben Ezra Synagoge

Von hier aus fahren wir zur Ben-Ezra-Synagoge, die nicht weit von der Abu Serga entfernt ist. Einst befand sich eine Abschrift des Alten Testaments in dieser Synagoge. Es wird vermutet, dass an der Stelle der Synagoge der Korb des kleinen Moses gefunden und das Baby aus dem Fluss genommen wurde.
Dritte Station: Zitadelle von Saladin und Alabaster-Moschee
Nach dem Besuch der Synagoge, fahren wir zu einer Stelle mit einem einmaligen Panorama, wo Sie frische Luft atmen und einen perfekten Blick über ganz Kairo (von der Zitadelle von Saladin) oder Qalaa Salah Al-Din haben. Die Festung wurde in 7 Jahren zwischen 1176 und 1183 v. Chr. auf dem Mokattam-Hügel in der Nähe des Zentrums von Kairo erbaut, um die Stadt vor den Kreuzfahrern zu schützen.
In der Zitadelle haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die Moschee von Muhammed Ali oder die Alabaster-Moschee zu besuchen, die dort zwischen 1828 und 1848 erbaut wurde. Diese Moschee gilt als perfektes Beispiel der osmanischen Architektur in Ägypten, wenn Sie diese mit einer Moschee typisch ägyptischer Architektur vergleichen.

We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.
Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation
Cancellation by the clients
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.
- For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
- Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Golavita
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Is it allowed for non-Muslims to enter historical mosques in Egypt?
• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.
Can I take pictures while visiting the monuments in Egypt
The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
