Overnight Sataya reef is a fascinating time that will leave a nice memory for a lifetime snorkeling or diving in the Red Sea. Sataya reef is an amazing place where you will find huge numbers of dolphins swimming around. The overnight sure will be the spectacular trip during your stay in Marsa Alam.
Overnight Sataya Reef Day 1
An early start and bit long ride travel time for about 100 kilometers to the south of Marsa Alam city. From Hamata Jetty, and for two hours sailing till Sataya reef which is really as good as anywhere in the world. The trip is nice for family, couples, friends or a single traveler where you will enjoy nature, beautiful colors, warm sun, crystal water, and blue sky.
You will start your Sataya reef overnight with a welcome drink then the boat will sail for about two hours to the first snorkeling stop at Sataya or Sha’ab Sataya or Sataya Reef or Dolphin reef, one of the best destinations not only for snorkeling but also for diving.
Sataya Reef Lagoon
During your snorkeling in this huge lagoon which is taking the shape of a boomerang, more than 6 km in length. Sataya reef is surrounded by the coral from three sides, you will enjoy the spinner Dolphin which considers Sataya reef their home and you will explore the underwater cathedrals reef.
Rubber boat or Zodiac trip
You will enjoy a short ride with the zodiac boat to enjoy snorkeling at one of the best spots for the coral reef in the Red Sea. you will have the chance to explore caves, tunnels, coral gardens, and even drop-offs. Put in mind that Fish life in the Sataya reef is excellent, schooling fish of all types are seen in large numbers. then back on board for lunch and relaxing time.
After lunch, another chance to swim and snorkel with the dolphins in their natural home before you will go back to the boat to watch the best sunset view from the deck. Enjoy your freshly cooked dinner while listening to the soft music and watch the stars up to your head. Overnight on board
Overnight Sataya Reef DAY 2
Early wake-up and chance to catch dolphins before anybody else with the first sun rays. Enjoy snorkel and swim in the beautiful lagoon before you will head back to the boat for breakfast and coffee.
Sailing to Abu Galawa which is suitable for all levels of divers and snorkelers. It is a beautiful reef with Soft and hard with numerous species of reef fish and other marine life. At Abu Galawa Soraya is also a small wreck that lies at a depth of 18 meters. Sailing back to Hamata jetty then transfer back to the hotels in Marsa Alam.

We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.
Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation
Cancellation by the clients
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.
- For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
- Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Golavita
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Christmas & New Year from 20/12 till 06/01 & Easter holidays from 19/03 till 31 /03

Is it allowed for non-Muslims to enter historical mosques in Egypt?
• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.
Can I take pictures while visiting the monuments in Egypt
The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
