Ägyptisches Museum
Das ägyptische Museum wurde von Marcel Dourgnon im neoklassizistischen Stil entworfen und verfügt über 107 Säle, in denen die Exponate in chronologischer Reihenfolge auf zwei Etagen angeordnet, mit 42 Räumen im Erdgeschoss und 47 Räumen im Obergeschoss sowie Nebengebäuden am Eingang, angeordnet sind. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich riesige Statuen, Sarkophage und Boote während sich im Obergeschoss kleinere Statuen, Juwelen, die Grabbeigaben des Tutanchamuns befinden.
Im Obergeschoss wurde ein Saal für die königlichen Mumien eröffnet, in dem sich 11 König- und Königinnen Mumien der insgesamt 27 Mumien befinden. Das Museum beherbergt rund 160 000 Objekte aus der 5000-jährigen ägyptischen Antike. Bitte erwarten Sie nicht, dass Sie alles auf einmal im Museum besichtigen können, es wurde tatsächlich berechnet, dass es neun Monate dauern würde, bis Sie die gesamte Sammlung besichtigt hätten, wenn Sie jeweils nur eine Minute an jedem Exponat verbringen würden!
Felukenfahrt auf dem Nil
Nach dem Museum können Sie 30 Minuten in einer Feluke oder mit dem Motorboot über den Nil fahren und den atemberaubenden Ausblick auf Kairo genießen vom Wasser aus genießen.
Al-Azhar Park

Wirbelnde Derwisch Tanz Show
Die letzte Station unserer Kairo Tour ist die Show eines Derwisch Tanz. Es ist eine großartige Gelegenheit, einen der mittelalterlichen Bräuche zu sehen. Our goal is to provide extensive tours and excursion services and innovative travel products for our guests to ensure they enjoy the best of what Egypt has to offer as a holiday destination but we understand things happen in life and sometimes you have to cancel or change your tour plan. We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.
Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation
Cancellation by the clients
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.
- For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
- Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Golavita
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

Egyptian currency is known as Genieh or L.E or Pound .Currency exchange is available at banks, official bureaux de change and most hotels. Is it allowed for non-Muslims to enter historical mosques in Egypt?
• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.
Can I take pictures while visiting the monuments in Egypt
The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
