Hurghada to Cairo day trip starts early morning from your hotel on the agreed time. Our representative will pick you up from your hotel to Cairo with an air-conditioned vehicle. You will have a short stop on the way to Cairo to use the toilet and have something to drink if you like or getting your breakfast. Upon your arrival in Cairo, you will start your trip to some of the most famous Cairo sightseeing.

You will start your day with Cairo attractions like the Egyptian Museum. The national Egyptian museum is one of the best things to see in Cairo. The present building dates back to 1900 and it had the world’s most comprehensive collection of pharaonic antiquity. Egyptian museum houses approximately 160 000 objects and visiting the Museum will be unbelievable because you will see everything you had read and studied about from childhood.

During your visit, you will be surrounded by thousands of years of history. You will enjoy the treasures of the boy king Tutankhamon on the first floor. The ground floor has stone sarcophagus, statues, stele, and boats. All the big objects placed here on the ground floor. So in general what you will see represent one of the world’s oldest known civilization, dating back as early as four thousand years B.C.

Panorama and the Sphinx

Enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant then you will visit another fantastic place where you will see the only wonder from the old seven wonders (Pyramids of Giza). You will visit the famous great pyramid of king Chufu and you will take the best photos from the panorama where you can see the three pyramids together. You will then end your tour with the valley temple of the king Chephren (called mummification temple) and the great sphinx. at the end of your day, you will make your way back to Hurghada.

Cancellation Policy and refunds

Our goal is to provide extensive tours and excursion services and innovative travel products for our guests to ensure they enjoy the best of what Egypt has to offer as a holiday destination but we understand things happen in life and sometimes you have to cancel or change your tour plan. We want to make it as easy as possible to do so we try to make our cancellation policy as good as we can and we divided the cancellation policy into Individual Travelers, groups depending on the high and peak period of the season.

Day Tours and Shore Excursions Cancellation

Cancellation by the clients

Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied.

  • For daily excursions no cancellation fee ( 0 % cancellation fee ) is charged and a full refund is given if the cancellation is received 12 hours before trip starts.
  • Less than 12 hours before the trip starts a 50% will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.

Cancellation by Golavita

We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any circumstances but will not cancel a tour less than 45 days before departure, except for Force Majeure, Low Bookings or clients’ failure to pay the final balance, the Company will, upon cancellation, return all monies paid excluding payment for travel insurance or offer an alternative tour of comparable standard. No compensation will be paid to the Client if cancellation is because of Force Majeure or Low Bookings.

  • Up to 30 days before arrival date 5% cancellation fee
  • 29 – 16 days before arrival date 25% cancellation fee
  • 15 – 08 days before arrival date 50% cancellation fee
  • 07 days before arrival date 100% cancellation fee

Christmas & New Year from 20/12 till 06/01 & Easter holidays from 19/03 till 31 /03

  • 30 days before arrival date 25% cancellation fee
  • 29 – 16 days before arrival date 50% cancellation fee

• Non-Catholics can enter the Vatican and non-Christians are welcomed at churches around the world. While not all the holy mosques of Egypt are off-limits to non-Muslims. All the historical mosques are open for the visit of Muslims/non-Muslims alike like Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel, Amr Ibn El Ass mosque, Ibn Tulun mosque, El Refae mosque, Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Al Azhar mosque. However, there are protocols which must be followed. Always remember a mosque is a place of prayer and worship for Muslims. It is not a museum.

The answer is between yes and no. in most of the sightseeing it is allowed to take photos and make your trip memorable but there are other places in which you can not take even your camera with you for example Egyptian Museum, Valley of the kings, inside any of the Pyramid, inside the tombs in Sakkara, tombs of noblemen in Luxor, valley of the queens in Luxor.
